Things to Consider Before Buying Best Baby Floaties
As we know, children love the sea and the swimming pool. For them it represents an unmissable opportunity for fun that you could amplify thanks to a fun float. If you don’t know what the best children’s float for sale on the market may be, we invite you to take a look at our buying advice.
Shape and Dimensions
The amount of products sold online is remarkable and understanding how to choose a good float for children could be more complicated than expected, especially if you are going to give them a welcome gift.
Since you will find them depicting animals and even different objects, our advice is first of all to understand which is the typology that could fascinate them more: a motorboat, an alligator or even a swan, and only then move towards one in particular.
The dimensions are also very important, for a single child you could opt for a float that is not too large while, if you have more than one child and you want them to play together with the same inflatable, you should consider a product that can meet this need .
If, on the other hand, you have very young children, real floating belts are also available, very spartan and inexpensive, which can help the infant become familiar with the water without having anything to fear.
Resistant Materials
The material most used to make these floats is undoubtedly PVC, or polyvinylchloride, one of the most used plastics in the world. The resistance of this polymer is high and guarantees satisfactory durability over time.
What changes is the thickness of the PVC layer. As is easily understood, the lower the thickness and the lower the resistance of the product, especially if it is forgotten at the mercy of the weather or for too long under sunlight.
To make the float last longer, it is advisable to deflate it after each use and store it in a dry environment and possibly away from sunlight, for example stored in a closet.
Furthermore, if it is used at sea, attention must be paid to sharp surfaces such as rocks. A pointed stone could in fact easily tear the plastic material. We therefore advise you to always keep your children under control and not to let them play too close to these rock formations.

Inflation
As for the preparatory phase of the float, be sure to get an adequate pump, trying to pay particular attention if you use an electric pump in order to avoid tearing the seams by introducing too much air.
Some products include a manual pump but we invite you to always check their presence in the data sheet or in user comments to understand if it will be necessary to make a separate purchase or not.
With this information in mind, we can now move on to the next section where we will consider different offers and you can compare prices and features to highlight the product that best suits your needs.
Magic Air Belts
The first product on our list is among the best sellers and surprisingly it is also one of the simplest. Magic Air Belts, as you can easily guess from the name, is nothing more than an inflatable belt for small children who must learn to swim.
The use is very simple and intuitive, the belt is made up of three sections which are inflated and then closed around the child’s body thanks to a velcro closure.
For older children, by purchasing two, you can use them as armrests, indispensable helpers in the early stages of swimming when they are not yet sure they can remain afloat alone.
The buyers are satisfied with the functionality of the product, in fact they claim that it does its job in an excellent way. The most common complaint, however, is related to the design, very uninspired. The belt is in fact completely white with the name of the product imprinted on it. Users would have preferred it to be more colorful or more attractive to children in order to make the learning experience more interesting.
The float proposed by BimbiPiù is very simple to use and without frills to act as an aid to very young children who must learn to swim. It is not the cheapest product in the ranking, but let’s take a look at its main advantages.
How Many Types of Children’s Floats Are There?
If we talk about floating systems for children we find five main models: traditional life jackets, armrests, floating belts, tubes and, the latest invention, floating costumes. The first four types are the best known and are usually used, obviously depending on the age of the child and his needs.
So if we had to establish a chronological order of use while the child grows up and learns to swim, the ideal would be: life jacket with panty (to lock the legs and prevent it from coming out of the hole)> belts> armrests> tubes. Costumes with built-in floats are great for the sea and large spaces.
