Best Modded Xbox One Controllers Buying Guide
The joypad has always been the best friend of all gamers and, although before it was exclusive of the game consoles, now even the PC gamers are looking for the best brand controllers to pair with their computer.
This is because the gaming world has expanded and now the PC can boast a tasty variety of games that go beyond the strategic and first-person shooters where mouse and keyboard have always dominated.

Compatibility
Before choosing a suitable gaming controller, you need to evaluate which game PC console you should buy it for, or maybe if it’s necessary for your PC.
In the first case, it is always advisable to opt for a controller produced by the same company as your console, for example, if you own a PS4 it is good to buy a Dualshock 4, to have access to all the controls and functionality of the games and the operating system of the console itself.
The price of the original models is slightly higher than those made by third parties, especially as regards the latest generation console joypads.
Remember to pay attention to compatibility, because a PS4 controller will not work with Xbox One or 360 and vice versa. Unlike consoles, the PC has a higher degree of compatibility. For example, it will be possible to use an Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 or PS4 controller without too many problems.
The joypads of the Microsoft consoles are those officially supported also on PC, precisely because the operating system most used for games is Windows. Lately, Valve’s gaming platform, Steam, has added support for DualShock 4 which now no longer require unique configurations to be recognized.
Recall that controllers produced by third parties as replicas of the original ones have a lower price and, although they are quite precise, they tend to have a shorter duration over time because they are usually made with more mediocre materials.
Directional Keys
Who needs the old directional keys anymore? Now almost to no one, the controls via analogue sticks have supplanted the dear old D-pad, mainly thanks to the advent of shooters and first-person games on consoles, a genre that in the past belonged only to the PC.
The directional keys, however, are not to be overlooked, especially if you love playing old platforms or new fighting games that require surgical precision for the execution of the combos. For this reason, if you prefer those types of games and you want to face demanding online battles, you should opt for a model with right directional keys.
On this, Sony’s controllers are the best, while those of Microsoft has a slightly less precise D-pad which is not very suitable for “fighting games” (to use an old term).
So PC users will be able to opt for Dualshock 4, while if you have an Xbox One, maybe it’s better to look for a Pro Stick or another controller suitable for Street Fighter, Tekken and the like.
Functions
By now, modern consoles are no longer limited to reading the cartridge or CD and starting the game, although many would prefer it to be so.
Now they are more like real computers, with the ability to access various Internet functions or apps directly using the joypad. Not only that, but often the new generation joypads have the necessary “motion” controls to play some titles.
