Geranium essential oil is extracted from Pelargonium graveolens, a plant belonging to the family Geraniaceae. The geranium is a perennial plant, with flowers grouped in umbels and consist of five petals. It blooms in the period between spring and autumn. The colours can be varied, ranging from red to purple, from white to mauve.
